Fishers Island Utility Company is proud to offer a discounted internet plan in accordance with New York State’s Affordable Broadband Act (ABA). This initiative ensures that eligible households on Fishers Island have access to reliable and affordable high-speed internet.

The Affordable Broadband Plan Includes:

  • Broadband internet for $15/month
  • Speeds up to 25 Mbps
  • No contracts
  • No data caps
  • No hidden fees

Who Is Eligible?

You may qualify if a member of your household participates in one or more of the following:

  • SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program)
  • Medicaid
  • SSI (Supplemental Security Income)
  • FPHA (Federal Public Housing Assistance)
  • Veterans Pension or Survivors Benefit
  • Or if your household income is at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines

How to Apply

  • Complete the Affordable Broadband Self-Certification Form.
  • Return it by mail or email.
