PSC seeks comments on the petition filed by Fishers Island Electric Corporation requesting authorization to enter into a secured loan* for a term in excess of 12 months in an amount not to exceed $45,000.
Case 26-E-0389 – Petition of Fishers Island Electric Corporation to Incur Indebtedness for a Term in Excess of Twelve Months Pursuant to Section 69 of the Public Service Law.
*Fishers Island Electric Corporation (“FIEC”) hereby petitions the New York State Public Service Commission for authorization to enter into a secured loan with a term greater than twelve months to finance the cost of acquisition of a 2022 Ford F350 to be used by the FIEC Electric Superintendent.

This is to transition the white F350 truck utilized by the Electric Company. We also decommissioned 4 vehicles as part of an overall overhaul of the fleet. This resulted in a reduction of operational expenses in maintenance, tires, brakes, fluid changes, insurance, registration, and fuel.
